First you need to: Take a very close look at your existing email program.

Set your benchmarks for things like:
  • Opens
  • Clicks
  • Conversions
  • Unsubscribe rates
  • Revenue generated per campaign
  • Revenue generated per email sent
  • Average order size
  • Lifetime customer value
